Gray, beige, white, cream – you know these colors well. They are everywhere, and look good with almost anything, because of their wonderful neutral nature.  In interiors, monochromatic color schemes take on a myriad of different forms and are easily one of the most beautiful solutions for an elegant living space. For example, in the interior to the left, the contemporary patterns on the rug, ottomans, and pillows add flare and visual interest to what would otherwise be just a ho hum neutral interior. Even the textured wallpaper – as opposed to just a flat paint color – gives greater depth and beauty to the space. The gold base on the cocktail table really ties the warmth of the entire room together.
